My X5 following some recent mods
So when i got my car about a month ago i began doing a few tweaks
first thing i changed was the grill before After Second was i got some tints 30% all around Before After then i had to get rid of those damn reflectors then i was faced with the task of getting black roof rails cause the silver were terrible and the damn window trim making it black Before After finally i wanted some black wheels Before After I also retrofitted the 6nr...... i have to say im lovingthe look what do you guys think? |

I like how it came out, i wouldn't paint the wheels, what i would do i put a 5% strip across the top of the windshield , change out BMW roundels to black and white, tint that turn signal on a fenders, reflectors on the rear bumper, clack out the exhaust, but thaT'S JUST MY OPINION!!
nice X5 though!! |

I am on the fence about the tinted tail lights i am not a big fan of how the tinted lights look. Id love to see some pics of tinted lights looks like some jobs are better then others The turn signals are the next mod. Thanks for the feedback keep it coming |

Nicely done. Is your X5 carbon black? Hard to tell on pics. I'm waiting on mine which is carbon black with M sport package trim. In the US production, the trim around the windows are black, not silver. I was actually thinking of getting it silver/brushed aluminum trim after I received mine, but based on your X5, the silver doesn't look good at all. Glad you posted the pic of the window trim. Personally I like the chrome lined grill and aluminum wheels as they are. Isn't illegal to get rid of the reflectors?

No its jet balck, i really went back and forth between jet black and carbon black, i originally ordered it carbon black when assigned then called the dealer the same day to change it. I think both colours are great i just wasn't loving the blue tint in the sun. On a overcast day i think carbon black is the nicest colour but when the sun is hitting it i don't love it anymore. I went with Jet black because i figure i was going to black out everything anyway.
removing the reflectors is indeed illegal but if you drive like a normal person and dont act like a jack wagon the police usually don't bother.....i know this for a fact because i am one of them |
