VW to jump into the F1 engine supplier wagon
This will be interesting. According to the article, they will be only an engine supplier. I wish BMW would getting back into the game even if only as an engine supplier. Will be the first to see a VW logo on an F1 car.

agreed. I am iffy on this whole world engine idea as well. too much potential for things to go wrong for what F1 shoudl be

its possible if F1 is going to mandate 1.5L 4 (or 6?) cylinder engine with turbo technology....

Why not, I think VW have some good engines line up in their line up. Audi, Bentley, and the likes. Dont forget they could even get Porsche to involve in the design as well.

they talked about this years ago with them coming in as lamborghini as well. they could use bugatti (ok, there's an idea). it would be cool being that they're so big, and german. but maybe just pipe dreams for now
