VERRRRY carefully. If you over-goo it will seep through the sticker and eat the visor cloth. But it does work best, specially on leather visors

If the stickiness has some of the words attached, there's another layer of plastic to remove. One of mine peeled off cleanly, the other came apart in two layers of plastic, and when the second layer of plastic was removed, so was the stickiness.

Good info... I just received my registration, so I can remove the dealer plates and put my personal plates on the car (which I kept from my E46). That means the temporary registration / DMV sticker comes off the windshield today!! I'd like to remove that AND the break-in sticker. Will try vinegar first... then GoofOff.

No need for chemicals. A simple razor blade will remove the sticker and any residue. Just be careful to keep the sharp edge on the glass and not your fingers.

I got it. I just figured out!. Use Meguiare's "body scratch". It works wonder. I use it on the car whenever I have tar splash, or small scartches. Actually, I used it once on my E36 M3; some Ass**** spray painted my side. It removed the paint, and didn't leave any of that paint. I used it to remove some left-over adhesive too. Doesn't scratch, and it is very safe. When you remove the "body scratch" completely, get a micro towel and rub it over the area; you won't see any swirls.

Use Duct Tape
Use duct tape or use windex with a razor.
