2010 X5M
Looking at a 2010 X5M with 76,000 miles on it. Can you guys give me some insight on what I'd be getting myself into if I bought it. Any help is appreciated. Just looking to become a fellow M owner as I've always liked them.

better check the suspension parts if they re loose or not especially front.. brake rotors and discs they re expensive also.. you can ask them to take a test drive to see its performance.. while parking etc you may hear cracking sounds from back or right under if so they can be diff shaft etc.. they re expensive also.. i believe you wont be happy to pay 5-10k dollars bill right after you buy.. these are the main things if they ll be ok generally means car is not abused.. M cars fate is to get abused.. cause people cant understand the difference between being fast and abusive..

It recently had tires, pads and rotors done. It has some hidden hitch on it. Looks clean from the pictures, it's 4 hours away from me so I haven't looked at in person. From the auto check it looks like a 2 owner car and the current owner car has had it since 27k miles. So I'm hoping all the recalls have been done. I'm going to contact the seller some time today and see.

Get a full service readout from your or their dealership. All you need is the VIN. Should give you the full service history including recalls.
