Rust on brake rotor

Hello everyone,

I am seeking your opinions on why this happen on my brake rotor. Thank you all.

Those are brake rotors. Those are the areas the pads do not touch. All parts of the rotors rust but most of it gets cleaned off by the pads.

this is normal. the pads simply don't contact that area.
