I am placing an order for a X6 3.5i and moving from a 335i coupe. Planning to transfer my Vishnu Proceed into the X6. It is widely recognized as the most complete tuning solution out there.

There's also one person who got JB3 (the full-on tuning version) as well but install is a bit harder and the price higher. Ege |

I just installed the JB3 in my X6 35i.....I am very pleased with the results, Turbo lag basically gone, and pulls much harder. Install is a very easy, if you decide to do it PM me and I can walk you thru it. There are others tuners out there, go to Burger's Web Site for comparison chart.
I can't believe the performance increase for the price. Go for it !!! |

Do some research before you go with something like the JB3. For me, this is a 65k+ car and the risk is not worth $500. If you want a complete tune, go with Vishnu. Vishnutuning.com also has a comparison chart if you want to see what the true differences are.
Best of luck. |

Does anyone know if the JB+ will work on a 2009 X6 50i?
And, while the implementation is different, does this accomplish essentially the same thing as the 2010 7RR performance upgrade for 50i? I really wish 7RR had be available in 2009... |

Evotech Motorsport has 620 hp upgrade for x6 501!
if you've got an extra 48000 euro. They've got a range of options for both the 35i and 501. Check out this link:
http://www.evotech.de/konfigurator/k...tern=0?112,176 They are a German company but list American dealers on their website. Any experience with them? |

I still believe that the procede is a much safer option compared to the JB. This is coming from someone who has used AA, Vishnu, JB, and even Helix's Attache. Performance wise they are both fantastic. However, any tuner will tell you a flash is the way to go because of the ability of the tuner to change any parameter within the ecu's programming. Whereas, a piggyback has certain restrictions. Either way, if you have a 2009, and it is a 35i I recommend a Vishnu PNP have a shop install it, or install it yourself (it is really simple). It will provide you with twice the Horsepower the 7rr would offer. And it is configurable however you might like. And it would probably cost less than the Flash from the dealer. Ahhhh.. I can't take it anymore.. i can feel the need to mod coming back! |
