Yeah, probably set off a bunch of "oh shit, a terrorist casing the airport!" alarms!

OH my GOD. Last time I was at Vancouver BC, there were planes going off everywhere. Every 10 minutes I would hear one. You'd probably get used to it after a while.

Vancouver Smithers Terrace Prince Rupert Prince George Sandspit Fort St. John Kamloops Kelowna Cranbrook Castlegar Penticton Nanaimo Victoria The 737-700 is operated by WestJet, and they serve some of the same airports: Prince George Kamloops Kelowna Abbotsford Vancouver Victoria Courtenay We can drop Abbotsford and Courtenay from the list (not served by Jazz as far as I can tell), so that leaves: Prince George (I'm ruling this one out too, way, WAY up there) Kamloops Kelowna Vancouver Victoria I'm pretty sure BNR32 is from the Vancouver area, so I'm guessing he isn't hoping a ferry to Victoria, so let's rule that one out too. Kamloops and Kelowna are both 3.5+ hour drives, so I'm thinking "no" to those as well. That leaves Vancouver.... "Elementary, my dear Watson!"

I'm going to post some pics from similar pics except it was shot using a Canon Powershot G6! I also shot the pics near Richmond Airport. There's an area in Richmond where you'll see a bunch of cars on the road with people taking photos with planes landing. It's a popular activity when the sky is clear and it's not raining.
