Engine oil brand recs for X6

Hello
I have a 2009 x6 x35i with 116,400 k miles and it’s time for me to get an oil change. What’s the best engine oil to use for my high mileage car. Right now I have Mobil high mileage 5w-20 in it but I been told to switch to 5w-30 but I don’t know which brand is reliable as well as staying in high mileage or go regular. I hear castrol is the best but can I just use Mobil 1 high mileage 5w-30 ? What’s everyone’s recommendations ! Thank you

Castrol is the recommended oil. Or just buy from the dealer. Bmw oil has certain additives in it that your engine could use to last longer

And most important, you must change your oil no more than 5000 miles. If you can afford it, change it every 3000 miles
