Hey everyone,
Just thought I’d share a quick update from Greece. Right now the weather has been a bit unpredictable — typical spring vibes. Some days are warm and sunny (around 20–24°C / 68–75°F), perfect for driving and enjoying the outdoors.
But then suddenly you’ll get a cloudy or rainy day, and temperatures drop closer to 15°C (59°F). Mornings and evenings can still be a bit chilly, especially near the coast or in the north.
Overall though, it’s the start of the beautiful season here — green everywhere, flowers blooming, and daylight getting longer. Can’t wait for full-on summer.

Perfect spring day today. Sunny and breezy with the temp being 75°F and a high of 76.

Cool and cloudy days ahead with a little rain thrown in for good measure.

Will be 63/61 for my walk tonight. Just right for a light jacket. Looking forward to it.

Cloudy and 55 at the moment. It was nice over the weekend, slept in the outdoor recliner Friday and Sunday, got some color.

Just had an earthquake down in San Diego, didn't SEEM like earthquake weather.

I felt that too. Didn't feel like a normal quake. Lasted a few seconds but was very light. Just read about it; a 5.2 magnitude hit Julian, California in San Diego County at 10:08am.

It’s perspective, though didn’t feel light to me, but that’s because i was on a second floor of big office bldg in Mira Mesa and it was definitely moving a lot, few of us got under our desks.🫨🫨🫨

It shook our house quite violently and lasted 10-15 seconds, counting the initial & trailing rolls. I guess being only about 30 miles from the epicenter had something to do with that. The Northridge quake was almost as bad, though it was magnitudes stronger.

Below freezing today and tomorrow. Thursday looks to be the end of the stupidity at least with stable temperatures (~50F) in the rest of the forecast. That means summer tires are finally going on!

There was a 7.2 in baja on Easter 2010. I missed that freaky occurance since I was outside at the time riding a bike at the park. I’m ok with waiting another 15 years until the next one😬

It is now definitely spring: 60s and lower 70s in the day but cool at night at around 40. The normal pattern is that rain continues until about the end of June and we have not had rain for weeks. Although it is very pleasant, I worry a bit that we will be excessively prone to wildfire in the dry summer.
