2013 Bmw X5M E70
Good Day,
I would like to know about an issue that’s now become persistent on my X5M E70 has around 110000km. The issue is a continuous misfire on cylinder no 6, the following was done, 1) Changed the coil pack 2) Changed the plug 3) Changed the injector on cylinder 6 and was coded to the car. Yet it’s still misfiring, I’m leaning towards maybe a faulty O2 sensor but I’m not sure, Your assistance in this matter will be highly appreciated. Regards. |

Have you checked your injector on that cylinder? When changing your oil is it more saturated with gas as you could have a sticking injector that is causing a misfire. I would use a bore scope on that cylinder (pull the coil and plug) and visually inspect the cylinder to see if the injector is leaking down under pressure.
