Here's an analysis of the new Haas. A bit lengthy, but interesting to see the changes in not only the car, but also the organization...car was designed in house rather than relying on Dallara.

Pushrod steering
Didn't Ferrari learn that lesson long ago

Hope Haas is just playing games to hide the real setup

Their reasoning...
"Scuderia Ferrari is confident in its decision to use Pull-Rod configuration on the 2022 front suspensions – in total contrast with the push rod suspension geometry seen on the latest cars. This call made by the Italian side is manily dictated by aerodynamics: the Pull-Rod configuration allows the flow to be redirected towards the bottom of the car and straight into the cooling inlets, which should also be lower, all matched by a more compact rear end thanks to the cooling “gills” allowed by the new regulations."

Ok, Im so confused

What did last years cars use? Push-Rod? If so that's what they should stick with.

So Ferrari is going to try Pull-Rod configuration again? The drivers hated it last time many years ago. Don't understand why Ferrari would go down that road again. Aero benefits aren't worth sacrificing driver feel IMHO.

Will the new formula make the cars harder to drive? Remembering the last ground effects era, it seemed to make average drivers super. Here's driver61's video explaining (among a lot of other things) how this new era of ground effects differs,

"Red Bull have launched their 2022 Formula 1 campaign today with what appeared to be a showcar." Looks low and sleek...like a ground effects car should. I too am not a fan of the cheap looking wheel discs.

It’s the model or a copy of the show car nothing more or less it has NO resemblance to their real car only the livery will be similar.

HAAS at least showed a tiny bit of what their car might look like Redbull is having a laugh, shame really should be called a livery launch not a car launch.

They are standard spec for ALL teams, you won’t find any different in any team.

Believe it or not they have tested adding LEDs to the covers in testing. Might be used for advertising or to show position, if they have pitted potentially. Not confirmed to be used yet but it’s being looked at.
