Spark plug question
Has anyone started to run colder plugs after having their X5 turned? I found this online which recommends running one step colder plugs and changing them every 15k miles when running a tuned motor. I'm currently running Dinan stage 2 tune and this is the first I've heard of it. I couldn't find anything online through Dinan and was curious if anyone here was doing this. I can source these plugs a lot cheaper elsewhere so that's not a problem.

Yea everyone and their mother that tunes the N63/S63 runs the NGK 97506. Gapped at .022 (I found that gapped at .020 makes it run a little rough at idle).
Get them off of fcpeuro so they are free going forward. (Warranty replacements). I change mine yearly. |
