2013 0C11961 Alpine/Black TBD I'm new to the X5. After a year+ of window shopping, last month I found this one listed locally, and it checked all of my boxes, so I had to take it home. Not wanting another black car, Alpine or MCB were my first color choices. Also on my list were mileage (28k), CPO, leather dash and full LED lighting. It's pretty well loaded with the exception of the rear seat entertainment (the kid already has so many electronic entertainment devices, it's not missed). Mods. Pre-purchase, I thought that I could leave it stock and just drive it, as this will be my new daily (replacing a Dinan E39 540). I've since given up on that idea, but the modifications (for now) will likely remain aesthetic. Not new to BMWs however. I've had this guy since 2000: And this one since 1996, which is going through a pretty complete restoration (https://s14net.vbulletin.net/forum/s...e-build-thread) John. |

I know your 540/6 from the forums. The Dinan 540 has gone to a good home, but I haven't been able to part with the E34 or E30. |

You know... I actually had more $$$ tied up in the 540i/6 than I paid for my X5M.

They're Niche staggered 20's with stock tire diameters. I'm currently running AC Forged 22's.

Sorry to hear that, Brah.
Hopefully the problem is indeed the turbos, so you have an excuse to upgrade them! |

Hi, my name is Isac, I live in Fresno CA, almost two weeks ago, I traded in my 2016 Mustang GT for a 2013 X5M, no regrets at all, love the X5M. 6 months after I had purchased the Mustang I hated it, it was slow, uncomfortable, I did love the exhaust sound.
I also have a 2007 e90 335i, that I have had since it was new, that car is my favorite of all, apart from the cosmetic mods, it has Pure stage 2 turbos, all supporting mods, car made 542whp on 91pump gas and meth @25psi. My tuner wanted to raise the boost and adjust his map to make 600whp but with my current tires I get no traction at all and the car is intense when I actually get on it. So need to get some stickier tires before I raise the boost. Back to the X5M, in the next few months (hopefully before Bimmerfest) I plan to get the front bumper repainted, wrap the roof gloss blk, Jb4, then DP's. I did the muffler and resonator delete, car sounds decent but I guess I was expecting it to sound like my straight pipe exhaust on my GT. My brother inlaw works for a BMW dealership in the bay area and he has welding skills so Im trying to convince him to make me some downpipes. instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imp860812/ The Mustang The 335i and the new to me X5M |

Your stable is badass and congrats on the X5M! If I could have any car to go along with my X5M it would be a built 335, just like your little rocketship! Both cars look great man, hopefully I'll run into you at Bimmerfest this year! |

Looks like this thread isn't super popular, but I will chime in.
Name is Dan, 39, married with 1 kiddo, and I sell parts for Snowcats and heavy duty tracked vehicles for a living, but previously worked on european cars, mainly classic from the 50's to 70's. I have always loved cars, and finally decided that I needed to grow up past modified Subarus and Hondas. I have been looking on and off at the X5M since I first saw an X6M on the road back in 2010. Just made a bit of a move and life change, and found one that fit what I wanted only 2 hours away. As cars are pretty much always feminine, she is a 2010, Alpine White, black and gloss black interior. That is the only thing I really wanted to have different would have been the C/F accent trim inside. Unfortunately I think the previous owner wasn't that into cars, as all 4 wheels are curbed, and there is the typical rear wheel arch blasting and some little nicks on the rear bumper and drivers door trim. Luckily I have a friend that owns a body shop, and plan to get nicer summer wheels next year, and keep the curbed set for winter use in Colorado, as I currently live at ~8000 ft elevation. So far the beast is fun, and I love being able to have the feel and acceleration that I want, while not getting a headache from exhaust drone, and not having a bone-jarring ride. Pretty happy with it as-is, but might do a flash, and a bit of coding, and maybe led lighting upgrades. |

I'll contribute, it can always be useful for meetups to have threads like this
League City, TX (Houston Area) 2011 X5 M Carbon Black Metallic MODs Trailer Hitch (BMW with 7 pin harness) Whiter day time running lights Near limo black window tint (no one can see in) weathertech floor mats trunk liner (fabric covers the whole rear cargo area including back of seats) Keeps ladder damage down. I don't really plan to mod my X5M in any meaningful way. Sac relig right? We'll I own an Information Technology company and believe it our not this is my work "truck". I do a lot of campus Wi-Fi networks for hotels, apartment complex's, marina's, city parks etc. So I wanted a secured, weather proof storage for job sites. So yes, this vehicle is driven off road, in mud, gravel and construction sites and is used as a tow vehicle for bucket lifts/scissor lifts and my travel trailer. Why did I get this instead of a pick-up? It was, better riding, more secure storage, better impression with perspective clients, and I like to drive. Its also a way better tow vehicle than any 1/2 ton pickup I've tried. It does spend most of its life in my company storage, so its low mileage it has 45K miles. I daily drive an 2011 335D that is modified ;-) |

Funny seeing this post. I was recently thinking about making an "xRegistry" website to track these cars by VIN since they are becoming more rare (especially the X6M's). Maybe I'll get around to making it now if I can think of a good domain that's not taken.
Maybe xmregistry.com or xmregistry.org?
