Dr.Duct_Mossburg X5M
Well as the little things add up and now the bigger cosmetic pieces are getting ordered I guess it's my turn to create a thread.
Took Delivery of my rig from Enthusiast Auto Group in Cincinnati Ohio on November 20th. EAG purchased it from the owner of discount tire who's wife drove this. She went to trade this in on a 2015 X5M and gave EAG a chance to out bid the dealer. All dealer service, documents, window sticker, etc. Loaded with everything except rear entertainment. She had 39k miles on her and was super clean and well taken care of. EAG deals in mostly pristine M cars. I dealt with Eric (one of the owners) and had a great experience. These guys really aren't a dealership... They're two brothers with a hobby and passion that parts with cars to make room for others. If you're an M lover... Definitely check out their site. http://enthusiastauto.com First stop! Hooters. I have a good buddy that accompanies me on all my road trips for cars or motorcycles... Another mechanically trained eye (he's more of a OEM guy and i'm more of aftermarket)... He's also a former mechanic for BMW. Hooters is our tradition, We stop at everyone on the way home. It makes for an entertaining drive. Current Changes: Velos Stage II Tune Valentine V1 Hardwire Factory Wheels with Snow tires BMW s239 wheels with summer tires (up for sale in the classifieds) Black kidney grills Lux H8 160's Need to be installed: H&R Drop 1.2" Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Next up: Wheels Window Tint Pet barrier Rear carbon diffuser

Catch up to where I am now:
Two days in to ownership (Monday Morning) I got with Omar and order the Stage 2 Tune... Few days later I got it uploaded and haven't look back since. Next step was getting a good detail before the winter weather hits and the 21's come off. Then I got my Valentine hardwired... Need to get the suction cups off and something more permanent. After that came then install of the Lux 160's And black kidney grills...

I also plan to get the tint a little dark in the next week or two with film added to the windshield.

Love it!
I actually like the 21's too! If you aren't sold on them, I may have some interesting 22s up for sale soon. |

lower it a bit and add spacers to the OEM 21s and it will look amazing!
Then there will really be no need to go out and invest in expensive wheels! Gixxer ...Wait, I've already done that! |

I have a blend mount from my CTSV but wasn't sure yet if it would work. The mirror hangs down a little far already too. Have any pictures of yours? I may put it in this weekend and give it a try... If it doesn't work ill order a new one.

they have different mounts for every model X5, X5M and so on... I had one on X5 which I got couple of months before I traded it in. I contacted them and got a replacement for my X5M, their customer service is pretty good. If u not sure which kit u need just send them a picture of your rear view mirror from the side and they will tell u what u need

I don't see how it could be much difference... Post size maybe?
I do like where its at now though because the sun visor can block it if I get pulled over.

You guys should give these folks a shot:

Got the suspension installed today... Crap picture at our local hole in the wall. I'll get better pics when I get it cleaned and the suspension settles a little.
-Still need to install the lip and potentially retint the windows/windshield. -Hopefully getting my wheels next weekend ;-)

Got the lip installed this morning before heading to get my wheels... Ill post up more about the install later. There is one small area where I'm not crazy about on fitment... but all in all a good buy for the price.
Ill get better pictures later, for now the cell phone ones will have to do.

She's coming together... Though I really like the stock wheels spaced flush that GIXXER had on his last night, these will be the new summer treads. I have the snow and ice tires on my stockers and it would appear winter is over. Hoping to get these mounted up soon. Just waiting on a few more things.
