I have one.......a world better than a 360. In my opinion the 360 is kind of like the Lexus IS and the PS3 is the 335

right off the bat, i wanna say that the wii is horrible and overrated...if my little brother didnt like it i wouldve sold it the day after i got it (or just returned it)

the ps3 is GOING to be the best console of this generation...as of now, there isnt a single game that really puts it up against the 360...MSG4, DMC4, GT5, and Killzone 2 are just a few games that will make the ps3 worth it...if you are willing to wait, keep the ps3

the 360 is just amazing...i always loved sony and never thought of buying a 360...but now that my dad got one for me i must admit...its brilliant!

ive never had as much fun on the ps3 as ive had playing halo 3 on the 360...i need to get gears of war and project gotham 4 while waiting for some worthwhile games for the ps3 to come out!

yup have a ps3, 360, and wii as well.

they are all completely different consoles.... i guess you can say its really up to your preference, even though playing video games doesnt really need a preference LOL.

How do you figure that? Tell us which game(s) on multiple consoles is better on ps3 than xbox? You get a blu-ray, you say? Yep, you also pay for it too.

On another note, i'm going to get a ps3, but not until they start making some worth while and better games than the 360.

we paid $100 more than 360 owners...and we got a bluray player included...which costs $1000 dollars...not a bad deal, right??

sucks for 360 owners...they didnt even get hd dvd players...id be pissed that my 360 didnt have an hd dvd player IF i didnt already know that bluray is gonna slaughter that format ...

My friend got one, and he has a 360 and Wii. I just got the 360. He regrets getting the PS3 as there's like maybe three exclusives coming out for it that MIGHT be worthwhile. Only game I actually want is MGS4, and that isn't even owned by Sony so if it's popular it's probably gonna be ported.

Well, there isn't a clear cut choice of which is going to take the lead (unless you believe Blockbuster). I don't want or need Blu-ray nor HD....how many Blu-ray disks do you have? I'm sure not going to start a new library of blu-ray or HD considering my dvds already look amazing on the 1080. Sony should have made it a CHOICE whether you want Blu-ray or not...that's my point.

I'm guessing you never watched anything on bluray? There is a night and day difference in picture quality between regular DVDs and bluray

Yep, seen quite a few actually. Can't say it was night/day difference, maybe it was the televisions (still depends alot on your television regardless of which "player" you own)? If you had read the earlier posts, you would see that i said i'll eventually get a ps3 and had nothing to do with likes/dislikes of blu-ray or HD...just Sony should make it optional. It's neat to have a blu-ray or HD...but bottom line though, i'm buying the console to play games...not movies. And when i see that i can buy Halo 3 and Gears of War for the $100 i'd save on buying a ps3, i think i'll take the xbox360 and 2 amazing games....and pick up the HD player down the line...or a blu-ray in a year or two when they're below $300 or so....won't be long.
