Sirius Radio said it is the X5 Sat Module not them - XBimmers.com

Got in the car this morning tried to tune to my favorite Sirius Station and only channels 2 through 18 were listed. Called Serius and they sent several new signals to no avail. I could hear music on 6,7,8,9 etc but cannot get any other stations. Bummer. They said to call my local BMW Dealership which i did. Got to bring it in to have it checked out. Anyone else experience this on their X5 Diesel?????

Like I have time to go to the dealership for this crap! Had at least 18 cars with XM/Sirius and never experienced this.

Did you try going back 2 menus and selecting "all" in the categories option?

I had this happen once with my 2009 X5, the dealer needed to install a new satellite module which was a warranty repair. No complaints with my 2011.

All fixed. It was a bad Sat Mod. Oh well s%#t happens
