PERFORMANCE PACKAGE 2011 X6 - 33 Pics & 4 VIDEOS (NYC)

****************UPDATE 04.21.2011******************
Hi,
everyone i have an update on the new mods i installed yesterday night . These new mods consist of several software coded I put in on the car.

Software Coded:

• Trunk tailgate opens and closes with key remote. In addition, able to use the inside key button to close the tailgate.

• Deleted ugly yellow cornering light when key press the opening button on the key remote. (Only Angle Lights comes "On". This make a clean wakeup look when the vehicle wakes)

• Deletes Navigation disclaimer information at startup.

• Roll Up/Down all windows and sunroof via the key remote.

• Roll In/Out side mirrors with key remote.

• DVD plays capability while car is in motion.

• Double parking light blinkers flashes rapidly in different pattern than stock. (I really like this feature because it brings a lot of attention to people who are so used to the stock blinkers.)

Youtube Videos

Tailgate Opening and Closing

Disable Connering Light

Roll Down and Up all windows and sunroof
First Testing - This was just minutes after getting it coded… I screw up on the button to press.

Side mirrors roll IN and OUT..Close DOWN and UP all WINDOWS
After knowing what to press.

Hi all,
Just wanted to share with everyone (specially:sky bimmers) some photographs of my partially COMPLETE PF Package mod project. In all, I am very pleased with all the parts I have put on the car. I was a bit concern about one particular part upgrade (wheels). The wheels switch got me worried from upgrading the famous BMW Double Spoke (215) Ferric Gray to the new recently release BMW PERFORMACE WHEELS (375) because the 215 already were a stop looker… In all honesty, the 375 are amazing and i have no regrets. I like the 375 style wheels better than the style 215. Even my friends tells me that the wheels look a lot better than before.

My car wash person would tell you differently. On Sunday, when I show up with these wheels to have the car clean he wanted to charge me extra $$ for the time it took to clean them.

My friend did the driving while i took the photographs... Enjoy.

BTW – I felt a slight and minor increase speed difference when you accelerate from standpoint. I would assume this is because the PFP wheels are lighter.

Parts:

• BMW Performance Aerodynamic Kit (NO FOG-LIGHT WARNING ERROR ON DASH)
o PF Front Bumper
o PF Side-Sills
o Insert for the rear bumper
• BMW Performance Grilles
• BMW Performance Rear Spoiler
• BMW Performance Rear Fins
• BMW Performance Wheels (Style 375) *a bitch to clean but looks is amazing
• BMW Aero clear reflectors
• BMW M Pedals
• RDash license plate
• M Germany emblem (I plan to remove it due to the amount of criticism received by members)
• AE DRL 85000k GP Thunder

Total estimate of mods parts – $13000.00

Future Parts:

• BMW Performance Power Kit -TBD
• Custom Plate (XXXX6)
• Eye Lids

Looks good, but I'd lose the fake M badge on the back. No offense, but most people laugh at the poseurs who put the fake M badges on their cars. You've got a great ride as it is, no need to imply it's something it's not.

Kgclark,
I totally agree with your statement above. I had second thoughts when I put them on Sunday for your same reason. And actually I was just waiting for some one to just bring it up and tell me and give me their opinion on the Germany flag emblem.

I will get it remove first thing the AM tomorrow.

I agree.....not classy....get rid if it....keep it clean and true. People who know cars know its not an M...

Awesome man. Love the new wheels... They give it a real different look more elegance in them.

As for the badge. I'd remove it. It's not making the car look any better, just making it look fake. Your X looks insane as is no need for that M.

Astoria, Queens?

No wonder I never come across you in NYC. I'm always in Manhattan and occasionally I drive to Queens one or twice a month. Well if you see a white X6 with PFP chasing you from behind...That would be me.... To say "Hello"

MAC (Martino Auto Concepts) in Glen Cove is a co/sponsor who did all of my mods. They wanted to showcase it because of the extensive work inside and out that was done.

Would you happen to have a pic or two of your debadge X6 project? I just want to picture it without it.
