Exclamation Poll about brake pads life

Hey guys,
I found interesting to know what is the average life of the factory brake pads, that way we can have a close idea know how much they eventually will last on our cars.
There is important data that must be typed in order to get a better idea, for example this is the data we need you to reply:

1. Type of car, X6 3.0d, 3.5d, 3.5i, or 5.0i......
2.Actual mileage on the pads (miles or kms)
3. Your driving style, easy on the brakes, medium, or "spirited"
4. And, if someone has replaced them already, how long they lasted ?

Thanks and I hope this info will give us all a general idea on what to look for in brake pads life expectancy

2. 14,000 Kms (8750 miles)
3. I drive the car spirited 80% of the time
4. Still on factory pads

1. 2009 35i
2. 21000km
3. Spirited
4. only 4000km left to replace them!!

brake pad wear

x6 3.5i
Type of road:80%city20%hwy
Style of Driving: 60-70% indy 500, 30-40% Sunday
Mileage:28500 kms
Status: iDrive reports 19,000 kms remaining on front original pads.
Comment:
I don't "ride" the brake pedal, but use the AutoHold feature as much as possible.
I use steering wheel paddles to gear down, or use sport mode during spirited driving..
In city driving, I watch the traffic ahead, & usually let the momentum & mass of the car to coast slowly to a stop.
With my Mercedes sedan, weighing 4000 lbs, driven similarly i usually get 30-40,000 kms on the front pads.
