Need Part # Confirmed

About to order some new coils to go with the NGK 97506 I have waiting to be installed. Want to go with Eldor coils. The part number that I wanted to go with is #12138657273.

Only issue is that FCP Euro, ECS, Turner Motorsport and most other retailers I visit don't list these as being compatible with the S63 in the X5 M or any other M car for that matter. Just wanted to confirm that coils are interchangeable between the N63 and S63 motors - I'm almost positive they are but don't want to go through the hassle of a return if I'm wrong.

Thanks

If you haven't done so already...why not just simply use one of the online part database sites. Just type in the last 7 digits of your VIN (first)...this will filter the part database specifically for you VIN and its options/engine/suspension//etc. Since you already have the 11 digit BMW part number...once you entered your VIN...then just paste that number into the part number search box.

All of the sites below will let you know if that part number is compatible with your VIN. It takes all of a few seconds to a minute to figure out.
  1. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/
  2. http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/
  3. https://bimmercat.com

These sites will also give you deeper information. If you click on the part number that comes up in the part number index...you can get historical data for part nbrs that have been superceded or are retro-actively exchangeable...or not exchangeable...as well as other BMW models that use the same part number.

Thanks for the replies. Ended up confirming that I had the correct part number for the Eldor coils and they're on the way from FCP Euro. Didn't want to go Delphi or Bosch since a few members have had some issues with them in the past.
