Is this too much play? front driveshaft, video

I have a low rpm (1500-2000) rattle, which is more pronounced when going uphill. I started manually shifting to maintain rpms over 2.5k to avoid automatic's low rpm shifting.

At first I thought it could be the transfer case but I'm now thinking it could be the drive shaft or front diff

The video is upside down - that part is connected to the front differential

Is it suppose to move like that by hand? The rear is solid

I have the same amount of play and no rattle. Low RPM is where the resonance will come into play with load, thinking perhaps converters, shields, etc? Does it manifest in Sport mode (higher shift points)? Good video BTW.
