Sometimes the FIA does stupid calls. But if there was a double flag then max gets 5 places, single is 3. i.e. there wasn't favoritism...
I would agree if Max got the flash on his dash but the stewards saying they felt some 'sympathy' is complete b@lls ,it is actually they that screwed up and tailored the rules to suit their own shaky narrative..you know I'm right.

My initial statement was in regards to if the penalty Bottas and max received was fair in regards to the flag type and thus debunking favoritism, not if the FIA made the right call.

Because we all know the FIA makes great calls....

The safety car part was a valid question, but the other half speculating a collaboration with Mercedes and the FIA is wack.


Maybe there were so many stones it would be impossible to clean up without sweeping which would mean a full redflag was needed, maybe they didn't think it was necessary idk. It wasn't like there was a couple big parts that the Marshall's could easily grab. It was like a bunch of small stones.

That’s what I’m thinking, if FIA actively ignored the fact that MB put DAS back on the car it would be an easy lawsuit for RB to win. I imagine it’s quite a few parts no?

IIRC when they had DAS the movement on the steering wheel from BOT and HAM was much more pronounced. Show the video of the tires changing alignment in conjunction with this video. Or show from when they had it last year to now in the same corner etc. Do some real work here and try to prove your accusation.

It doesn't mean it's das...

1) F1 cars are highly adjustable, maybe steering position adjustment was worn out allowing a but of play. it's not impossible for this to occur seeing how many times an F1 car is disassembled and reassembled.

2) maybe steering position was a bit loose during the race, Mercedes received their car super late in Brazil so it could have been rushed.


So unless you have proof it was being used in every race then it is more likely a fluke vs. a feature.


Don't forget when drs was used last year all the teams and analysts immediately caught it and showed footage of the front wheels toeing in and out with the steering wheel. Nothing was said this time, and since only the anti Mercedes people are talking about it, likely it is just jealousy and hate propagated against Mercedes.

Tell that to Russell and Latifi ...

BOT's tyre blew over the curbs . And he stuffed the track with a lot of crap ...

BOT was also a big danger for the other cars !!!
Same situation for Russell and Latifi ..

Yeah ...Let's talk about the safety !
Honestly the safety s@cked big time ..

If the safety car did came out , we would have seen (probably) another race ...

With the 1) safety car and 2) without the 5 place grid penalty Max would had every chance of winning with Ham not having the rocket PU.

Check out HAM's Mercedes was still silver-coloured at the '2018 Hungarian GP !
It's actually really amazing that DAS worked already so well in 2018 ?

Negative . MAX would had a (better) chance without the 5 P penalty + the (invisible) safety car .
Let us not forget that MAX was for about 10 laps between 0.3/0.5 sec. faster than HAM .
But then ..His tyres were gone by pushing like crazy ..

It's going to be an interesting last couple of weeks. I'm wondering if the RB is fully tapped out with regards to performance. We don't know what the W12 is fully capable of since Mercedes reverted back to an older PU.

Drivers still have to race but if we're going off strictly pace/numbers and RB is maxed out, it doesn't look good for Red Bull for the last 2 races. But a lot can happen and VER needs to win one of the last two races barring any retirements from accidents.

But it would be kind of hilarious if Mercedes was sandbagging the entire season to close out this era of F1 before the new regulations begin next season.

But no evidence toe angle changed...

Who knows maybe it controls other aspects of the car (maybe brake bias for instance), but so long as it doesn't alter toe angle then its not das...
