Three rear seats weight?

How's it going wondering if anyone know how much weight it adds on, don't really need it but if the weight is a bit more might add it. Thanks.

I don't get it. Why would you want MORE weight?

In any case, it would not be much at all. In fact, it may actually weigh LESS than the center console. You DO mean the 3 seat option instead of the 2-seat "standard", right? There is no 3rd ROW "option" in the X6 model.

I don't want more weight, but if it only weighs a bit more I would add it on just to have incase. Searching google I came up with nothing, will call and ask my dealer today maybe he knows. Thanks.

I believe it is negligible. In fact, I thought I remember reading somewhere it actually reduces weight. Either way, in a 5,200 lb truck, I doubt you would notice an additional 10-20lbs.

Rumor has it however that not getting the 3 person rear seat can really hurt resale. Of course if you are leasing, the point is moot

Oh yea, one of my gripes with the X6 is that the middle seatbelt flaps when driving with the window down and is really annoying. Still, I've had 3 people in the rear seat a bunch of times so I'm glad I got the option (truth be told I would not have been able to get the X6 without this option).

I could not see the point of buying a 5,000 lb Truck that only seats 4. This is most important option for me. Without it, I could not buy an X6, as much as I loved it the first time I saw it.

I think there was some talk about that and even someone who did it (didn't come up on the search, but I swear someone did it). The issue is the 3rd seatbelt.

That flaping is so freakig annoying. . Any idead to make the seatbelt no flap?
