Has anyone tried to have the 3 seat rear bench fitted as an non factory option? is it even available as a non factory option?

I think someone did it overseas. The trick is the middle seatbelt I believe. As noted however, if you have enough money, anything is possible!

Well, I was hoping to have it done at the dealer. As for the money, it depends hope much really.

You can order a center section and remove the center cup holders from eBay for about $600 just look under x6 rear seat but you won't have a middle belt. Or you can order a whole new seat from BMW as I did initially until it came in and the Color was off. I have an 2010 x6m with the orange interior and it didn't pass the mustard! The whole seat was $2800 and included the middle belt, but the belt could not be wired in with the other 2 for the seat belt malfunction feature. No big deal in my opinion!
It would have been worth it in my opinion if I could get the leather to match. I have three kids and I never get to drive my M on the weekends and get stuck driving the sienna :-( oh well, I guess that's what you get for getting an X6!

555MWPR - I am keen to find out if you had any difficulty fitting 3 seat bench, I have enquired from dealer and they advise it is not possible to fit same to my 2008 x6. Could you advise if it was a simple remove and replace and bolt in additional seat belt buckle ?

Any info on same would be greatly appreciated as I am anxious to install 3 seat bench
