My mom bought a hellrot 323i back in 1999 and I loved BMWs ever since. I ended up getting her 2000 323i (after she wrecked the first one) when she moved onto another car.

I actually got tired of Porsches, my last being a '97 Boxster which just got to be too small. Didn't have a great feeling about the dealer, either - like they were always doing you a favor to service your car, etc. In 2001, I decided to look at BMW and bought a 330i with sport and premium packages. Later bought a CPO 2003 330iZHP and in January of '08 I found a CPO '07 335i Coupe with 3200 miles on it at the Dealer here in Austin. Porsches just got too expensive for what you get, and I had several quality issues with my 1st-Gen Boxster, then had a heck of a time trying to trade it in for what I owed on it. My BMW experience has been light-years better!

My brothers E60 M5 made me understand that beamers are truly the ultimate driving machine, 6 months later I purchased an E90.

My cousin bought a 2004 6mt 545i and when I test drove it I fell in love with BMW since. Bought my first BMW 530i 6mt in august of 2007 and sold it in march of 2010. In march 2010 I bought my M3 and couldn't have been any happier

When I was little, my dad used to tell me how beastly the M3 is. Initially I thought 4th gen M3/e92 was disgusting, but after I saw the video of the ALMS e92 M3 on youtube I fell in love.
