M3 19" wheels as winter tires?

I have a set of M3 wheels 19" - style 220M from my e93 M3 (19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears).

The tire sizes are 245/35/19 fronts and 265/35/19 rears.

Would I be able to use these as winter wheels for my 2012 X5M?

I googled and searched, but couldn't find an answer.

Thanks!

I believe they are both 5x120. However, the rear wheels of the X5M have a hub size of 74MM, the wheels you have are 72.56MM, you'll need to get them bored out. which is possible at most machine shops or wheel refinishers

Not sure the M3 wheels are designed for the added weight of the X5 either, just something to check.

Thanks,
John

I've always wondered this myself.

The rear hub size for E70 X5M is 72.56mm. The front hub size is 74.1mm.

Also, the stock 18" wheels available on base E70 X5s are 8.5" wide. The stock 19" X5 wheel is 9" wide. Check out bmwstylewheels.com for some specs.

I have stock Style 300 wheels on my M and they are 20". There isn't much room left to go smaller with the massive brakes so I think that would also be an issue when trying to run 19" wheels as well.
