DIY bumper reflector swap
Some of you may be getting the clear reflectors for you X6///M so I thought i'd do a quick DIY.
First, you need to find some kind of tool small enough to fit in this crack. I used a small flat head screwdriver. Be careful not to damage your paint. If you shine a flash light into the crack you can kind of see some of the metal clip on the backside of the reflector. This clip is holding it in. Careful not to damage your paint, wiggle your tool around until you can hook onto the clip and push it in the direction of the red arrow shown in the picture. Push the clip in and pull out the reflector and replace with new refelctor. Done!

as someone suggested to me when I replaced my front reflectors, dental floss is perfect, strong and you don't have to worry about chipping your paint.

Thanks man. Had a pretty good idea how to do it but the visual helps. Now all they have to do is arrive.

Just swapped mine out. The easier way to do them is from the front. If you get the screwdriver in place and just push it towards the rear as you're pulling it towards you it un clips very easily and pops right out. I tried it from the rear and it was much more difficult.

Get a copy of trailer hitch install instructions and it will show you how to do it. Also, before you do it purchase a plastic rivet gun kit from Harbor Freight, you will need it to reattach the rear finder trim, two rivets per side.

To remove the front reflectors I slid a piece of plastic packaging strapping behind it and popped it out.
