How to install aluminum pedals? Please help
I ordered a set of pedals for my x5m, however it didn't come with any instructions, I don't want to ruin anything, since hearing that I have to drill a few holes. If anyone could please explain or guide me to a video/site that explains step by step to installing these pedals! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedback guys, I've been so slammed with work, hoping to post some before pics but will definitely post some after shots. If you want an idea of how they look before and after, check out M3_guys build thread.

Yeah I have a simple write up of the installation process with pics in my journal. The install isn't hard at all, just take your time and start with small drill bits on the brake pedal. It's the only metal pedal so it will be the hardest part of the install. If you have any specific questions ask away.

Be careful of the brake pedal and what type of drill bit you use. Uses punch first so that the drill has something to sit into.
Otherwise, if not drilling into brake pedal. Epoxy and a few clamps left on will do the job well also. |
