Bottom Clips of Kidney Grills

Hey guys. I tried to do some searching, but couldn't find anything for the problem I'm having. Anyway, I plastidipped my OEM chrome grilles for temporary black grills while I save money for the gloss black ones from BMW. I got the side clips and top clips in with ease, but the bottom clips won't go in. The thing that is holding it from going in is the small clip in between the two with the tabs. The two with the tabs are a quarter of the way in, but the small one in between those won't clip in. Any ideas on how to get it to clip in there?

I'm a little confused with your description, it may help to post some pics.

The bottom clips were a huge pain for me as well.

Before fully clipping anything in, be sure that each of the male ends on the kidney grilles are properly seated in position on the female ends of the bumper, then press the entire grille straight in with two hands; being sure to equally distribute force so that everything clips in at once.

If you don't get them all clipped in, remove the grille and start again. Make sure that the male ends aren't catching on the edges of the female ends, as they're quite thin and may bend/break.

Thanks guys. I got some pictures, but they aren't that great. Heres the two pictures I took just now:

Basically, whats happening is the smaller male tab won't clip into the female slot on the bumper. Its positioned above the female connection and won't move down.

This type of tab (Where the red lines are pointing):

Just wanted to say, I got the clips in. All it took was a little bit of wiggling down there, and they snapped right in. Sorry about my noob mistake...first time actually "working" on a real car...its all been RC Cars before this.
