Question LCI climate control unit question???

Is the later type climate unit with the ALL and heated seat buttons a plug and play install into a 06/2009 car with the earlier REST button module. Will the heated seat wires plug straight into the later unit??
Thanks

I can confirm that it's plug and play, no coding required. You lose the REST function, but gain ALL to sync the dual climate control

The heated seat controls work, they duplicate the lower control buttons (both light up the same and seats work correctly regardless of which button you push). If you don't have an xi or other options such as the rear sunshade, you could replace the button panel with a blank cover

Better late, than never...

IHKA must be coded according the car or there will be a lot of errors and you will not be able to adjust flaps trough navigation.
After coding you should change REST_TASTE_VERBAUT to nicht_aktiv and ALL button will become alive
