Best wheel places in GTA??

Does anyone know the best place to get wheels in the GTA??? I was planning to get some Avant Garde wheels for my summer tires. I'm still debating whether if I should get them from the states or get them here locally.

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated

Thanks!!

+1

Tires 23 is who I always deal with, though I have seen in other threads people have suggested simplytire.com as well.

Thanks guys! Do you know if they give any discounts for forum members? And who should I speak to?

Sometimes, even with tax, its cheaper than getting it here. Canada is expensive.

You only pay HST/GST.
Same as you would have paid when you purchase in Canada locally.
Many online stores in US are based in states with no tax, therefore you get to pay it only once when crossing the border.

Recently I ordered winter tires + Rims from tire rack & got them shipped to a US address. As I'm in Manitoba, paid GST on the Invoice at the border.

It is pretty simple and you do end up saving a lot for sure.

You pay 13% just like you would if you bought them locally. Some people like to lower the invoice value to save some tax, usually the tax savings aren't too huge since it's only 13% of value anyway.

Agreed this is one of the best options for folks in the GTA...
Just factor in the costs for pickup ($50 or so for that many boxes), plus gas ($100) and your time. you can always do more shopping to make it really worth while, plus the taxes at the border (which you would pay here anyways).

Despite what some other posters state, I would recommend against trying to smuggle anything in as its really not worth it for the potential savings. You should get some invoice for the rims though from the seller and if they are second hand, note any blemishes or imperfections so that the agreed upon (read low) price is justified.

Tires 23 has thus far given me nothing but good service..

Had a nail in my RFT days after getting it and they plugged it for free and it's good.. No wait and no appointments.. They were quite busy too

For the people that shipped to "usaddressinc" how much did you end up saving in total taking into account all factors (ie gas, tax, holding costs at usaddressinc, and any other fees I didn't mention).

Which Avants are you thinking of getting?

I wanna get these M359s. I want them in machine silver or hyper black.
I dont think Avant offers those finishes for m359

I agree.. no smuggling for me lol I guess I'll just have to compare the price differences and see what's more worth it. I could be paying for the same thing if I get it shipped here (which means not having to take the time to drive there and pick it up). Still got a lot of shopping to do... I'm in no rush to get these rims anyway hehe
