Trying to buy a 335i

I decided to definitely go for the 335i instead of the G37 and now I just can't find one. I'm on the west coast and apparently a 335i M/T is extremely rare. I plan on buying the car buy February so I figured maybe I could just order one, wrong. I cant order a new 335i anytime soon, they've apparently stopped production on the 2011's and are starting 2012s with the new body in March, meaning I can order by the end of March and get the car by May..... I don't want to wait that long. I went onto autotrader and there are some dealerships advertising that they are selling 2012 335i coupes.. i look at the picture and its a 2011 one.. is there something wrong with this? Anyways, much help would be appreciated, I need a car by February and I don't want to resort to a G...

that's because 2011 and 2012 coupes look the same. The sedans are the ones that are changing in 2012 and new coupes in 2013. I think you'll be able to order the 2012 sedan before march though...

Wait, do you want a 2012 or 2011? For the 335i, they are using the same N55 engine I believe for both years. But I thought the 2012 would have new technology for its generation (F30+), like Heads up display.

If you want a 2011, then websites like Autotrader or others are your best bet. You also can ask your dealer to search inventory at other dealerships and do a dealer swap. You might also want to resort to Cartelligent which can help you find a car.
