My dad who is the main driver of our 328i is looking to switch to the revised 2012 C300 so he's asked me to find a buyer for our 328i.

The car is in perfect condition, no accidents, no stone chips (that I could see), no mechanical issues, and meticulously cared for. Here are the basics:

• Sport Package (17-inch wheels style 286, staggered summer tires, anthracite roofliner, high-gloss shadowline, sport seats, sport steering wheel w/ paddle shifters)
• Heated steering wheel

• Summer & All-season floor matts
• 16-inch winter alloy wheels with Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires

Monthly payment is $750.66 tax/in. That includes a $5,500 discount that I was able to negotiate on the car. Lease ends September/October 2014. 96,000km allowed, and I believe there are 26,000 km on the car right now.

It may tough for you to get someone to take over, esp. BMW Canada is offering 0.9% lease + $4100 factory credit + approx. $3500 - $4000 dealer discount right now

A 36 month lease (with the assumed discount above) ... the monthly payment would be in the $650 - $680 range (all taxes incl.) $0 down.

If compared, you do have the add ons:
- Winter tires/rims
- Wear & Tear protection
- Prem Sound

To reflect these add ons to the brand new one (example above) ... it would be around $700 - $720 range (all taxes incl.) $0 down.

I hate to be this way but I think he is right. Mine has been on Leasebusters for a couple of months.....only 2 inquiries and they were both lowballers. Thats a lot of dough for a car with leatherette.

True. Both of you are right. But also consider the fact that this has sport (though probably not a big deal for most 328xi buyers). And the other party would have to pay freight/pdi as well.

I'd be willing to pay the lease transfer fee and perhaps throw something in to sweeten the deal if necessary.

The freight/PDI of $2000 + various sundry fees of $500 have already been factored into my ball park monthly payment. Without these, the monthly payment would be around $620 (all taxes incl.)

Sweeten the deal ? 1 week paid vacation in the Carribean would be nice ! :
