Just got back from 1500 mile road trip to NC

All I can say, is my e90 is growing on me. On the way back, I drove 9 hours straight (stopped once for a bite, bathroom and gas) and could not wait to get up in the morning to drive to work. It's a great driver. That's all.

31.7 MPG average for return trip. This includes high speed chases (lol), some notorious Baltimore traffic, D.C. construction zones and NJ turnpike being backed up for like 20 miles (1st, 2nd gear).

Diesel ... yeah, right!

And if you manually checked your mileage when you fill up, you know, mileage driven on the tank over amount of gas taken did you get that 31.7? I'm willing to bet you got less.

now if you were in a diesel you'd easily be actually getting over 35mpg and you'd have a VERY fast car with a lot of low end grunt which is great on the highway to pass people, not to mention in traffic it barely burns fuel at idle and can roll up to 10mph in second gear in traffic at idle so less fuel burnt once again.

come at me bro!

Or even an S5 or RS5. If would be better if the driver has an M3/M6.
