2006/07 328i E92 with 60k+ miles...worth it?
Hey guys,
I'm coming from a Honda/Acura background and looking to make the leap. What do you guys think about a car with those stats? Also, How necessary is the warranty? Thanks in advance for any help. I've searched through a good amount of threads, but been getting mixed answers. |

As far as I know (from reading here), that is one VERY reliable car. And a BMW with 60K miles is just broken in.
As far as warranty...it's still expensive for a lot of things on the car...so I'd make sure you have some funds saved up for it...

OP, I bought my '07 328i w/ 84k on the clock and it drives like its brand new. Haven't had a single worry with it and don't expect to for a long time.

It'll be expensive to fix things, take it to an indy shop and it'll be cheaper. The car should be fine. Sounds like it's just highway miles.

I got friends with over 100k miles on them with no problem except for regular maintenance, recently his spark plug exploded but he isn't worried into keeping up with his car except with the ganja.
Coming from JDM mods skyline and eclipse going euro is just as fun. Have fun modding. |

I would buy it depending on the service history and price.

You should be fine. I bought my car with 30k miles on it back in 09. My 325i now has 87,5xx miles. Haven't had many issues with it. If its CPO you'll be fine and if not, just find a good indy mechanic or DIY.
Good luck with your decision OP Last edited by Mr.E92; 09-23-2011 at 01:40 PM.. Reason: Typo -__- |
