Gruppe M Rep intake installed!
Not sure if anyone has replaced their air filter, but speaking to the guys in the US, it got me in the mood to do a mod. So I installed a Gruppe M replica intake.......:rocks: It is awsome! It gives the old 325 a real growl under acceleration! Check out the pics.

Check out the following thread from the technical forum.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46303 Eric has an E92, hence is fits a little differently and ksfrogmans is the original.....that costs over US$1000! I got it off the guy on ebay like everyone else...he's in HK. The replica comes with the same K&N filter as the original. Installation is very easy, and I have my stock air filter is I every need to change it back I offered the guy $250, but the going rate is $300 + shipping. You might be able to negotiate a better shipping rate to Oz.

Looks great sevey. I love "sleeper" mods- they make your car perform better but don't shout to the world that your car goes much better than you think. I love the cf weave. What's the diameter of the Ikon Exhaust? Exhaust tip only or full length installation?

Check out this threads: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48512 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21606 Quiet a few of the guys in the US have the Ikon exhaust installed. I got a quote: US$550 + US$125 shipping cost. Still thinking about it.....

Congrats sevey! I'm wondering if you can adjust the intake forward where it attaches to the plastic intake runner. The front of the CF intake shield should be closer to the front and sides of your engine compartment. Looks like you have a big gap there.

Yep, I loosened off the screw and could bring it in closer....Not that there was any difference in performance with the slightly bigger gap. Still sounds awesome!
I had the car out on Eastern Creek raceway the other week and sitting on 190km/h down the front straight the car sounded great. I had heaps of other guys come up to me from other makes to see what engine I had in the car as it was sounding deep and throaty!!!! Recommended mod....

hows the new exhaust 'noidea'? Sound good on a 4 cylinder? Ive got an aftermarket exhaust on mine with dual pipes, sounds better than the stock but wasnt planning on spending $1k on a Remus or anything. Mine was a couple hundy.

Hey people, anyone with a 320i E90 petrol sedan.... does the car idling sound like a diesel? I reckon my e90 sounds like a freakin taxi at the taxi stand sometimes! Annoys me.
