2011 E92 tweeter sails and 'seals' parts question
2011 E92 has base stereo so i have no tweeters. as part of my upgrade my installer is adding these but i need to provide the parts. The dealer and I are unsure which parts we need to provide to my installer.
I have ordered both sides of part number 13 shown here. However the dealer and i are uncertain if part number 11 is going to be required by my installer. They have part number 13 waiting for me but the inner seal (11) is coming from Germany and still may take several weeks to get here. anyone shed any light on this?

Go pick up part 13. One previous post on this forum said that he got the tweeter seals with the panel.
What speakers are you mounting BTW? I am right behind you in upgrading my base audio. |

I have ordered many of these and the seals do not come with the panel. I don't use the seals. They are not required by the installer. I'm not certain what purpose they serve as they don't actually seal anything.

Thanks VP, i'll just pick up the outer most part from the dealer then.

- BMW tweeter sails part number: 51 33 7 184 198 <L & R sails are the only parts needed

Will this fit an E93
I'm upgrading mine next week and wondered if the same parts fit the e93?
If not can anyone help with the E93 tweeter housing part no please? |

Hi
I am also on this upgrade path, same car same year using the Rainbow IL–C8.3 BMW E-Series kit. I ordered both 13 and 11 as apparently the insert is required to reduce wind noise. |

I had the E90 sedan, so I'm not sure it will apply, but did you look inside to see if you already have the styrofoam insert in the blank? I ordered mine anyways, only to take the old insert down and find it had the styrofoam insert in it already.
