Schedule Maintenance

Hello,

My car is at 52k kms. i've done oil chagnes every 7-9k. i've taken the car at 25k and 50k for service, but don't know what they did.

I want to do spark plugs, tranny fluid, coolant flush, differential fluid and brake fluid.

Where does everyone go for this stuff? I don't want to go to the dealership as their quote to do all this stuff early was 1500 and advised me to stick to my scheduled maintenance.

However, i am lookign to keep this car for a very long time and would like to do the maintenance above for peace of mind.

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

As an aside, I believe the brake fluid flush is part of the scheduled maintenance. my car was just in for its 2 year service, and they did it, along with a microfilter change (for the ventilation/ac/heating system)

Maybe you could see if they will give you a print out of all of the maintenance the dealership has done on your car - perhaps some of what you are planning isn't necessary.. ?

icandie is right brake fluid flush and microfilter is every two years. Except for the oil you can follow the schedule even if you are keeping the car.
FYI if you are within a month or two of the 4 years expirer you can whine enough to get whatever due within that month done under service plan
