320i V.S Merc C200K

we went on a trip to UAE on wednesday, 4.5 hrs trip to the capital city, Abu Dhabi...

on our way, just few minutes before we reach our destination, got annoyed by a Merc C200 Kompressor...

most of the times he started about a second before us, bro was driving, n all he did was turn off the A/C and floor the pedal whenever he could (he didnt use DS or manual mode)...

the C200K pulled about 2 cars the most, in only one race, the others were very close, we had about 5 or 6 runs, all started by him flooring and us following, he pulled in 5 out of 6, and we won one of them because he had a car infront of him

im sure we would've been close if my bro used the step., we wouldnt loose about 1 sec till the car downshifts

well, he had i think 13+ hp, but still, we would definitly win if we had 6MT

anwyay, it was one hell of a race, we reached our E90 top speed (149 mph)

EDIT: i forgot to mention that we were 3 in the car with lots of luggage (we spent 3 days there), and the Merc had only the driver in it, and i assume he didnt have luggage...

i wouldnt feel that way, that car had extra hp, it's not just a normal Japanese car, it's a Merc...

my point in this thread is that the C200K with extra 13 hp cant pull against a E90 320i, the only reason it pulled is because my bro didnt use the manual or DS mode...

i will try to find another C200K and have a fair race next time
