Cool How do you sit in your car?

I thought it'd be cool to see what everyone's seating position is.

I have the wheel all the way back, and my seat forward so that my arms are slightly bent at about 150 degrees; my seat is just high enough that I can barely see the outline of the hood of the car, and my legs are bent at about 130 degrees. My set back is pretty upright, probably about 110 degrees, and the side bolsters are inflated (quite a bit cause I'm skinny) so that they hug me close and tight. Lumbar support is slightly inflated and very low, with the head rest all the way forward.

So how do you ride: low and sleek or high and mighty? Sporty or relaxed? Close up or way back?

Low, with the seat fairly forward, DTC off, and DS mode on. ZOOM! My 328i is very peppy.

I hate it when I see guys in BMWs that are too big for their car. Those guys definitely need to lower their seats or get a truck.

My seat is back with the back support straight up and the thigh extensions all the way out. I keep my steering wheel straight, I dont like it angled up but i cant see the top of the speedo that way.

A little off topic but In what position do you sleep at night? How many meals a day do you have? what is your social security number?

Seat all the way down, tilt all the way back, leg extension all the way out. As far as recline and distance from wheel - I go back and forth. Actually, I have my 2 memory settings that go between a relaxed setting for general cruising/long distance, and another for white knuckle driving though twisties, etc. The latter has a closer to the wheel via less decline and less front-back adjustment. The steering column is set so that the top of the wheel is just above/inline front dash so that it doesn't impede my line-of-sight, nor the cluster readout.

Why do you need to know that? I've given you more than enough information to construct a bio-robotic replica of me.

Nobody else cares to share? Waiting for a new car does weird things to your head, like making you interested in seating positions.

I try to sit as comfortable as possible in the sports seats. Going into details is just a waste of time. Everybody adjusts according to their indivdual bodies anyways. If you hear how I adjust my seats, is that really going to help you.

I actually have to recline a bit further back than I would like to, because of my long upper body I can't fit in with my helmet otherwise.

I have 2 seating positions saved on my memory seats for my E92

Position 1 - Daily driving i'm seating upright/relaxed with my left hand on the wheel at 9 - 10 o'clock position and my right hand on the AT lever. Hands and feet are straight out.

Position 2 - Long distance driving: im seating reclined a bit and left hand is at the 8 - 6 o'clock position.

lmao.

I just sit comfortably, which usually means I can't see the top half of my speedometer, kind of spices things up a bit.

The best seating position is whatever is most comfortable for you.
I always seem to making minor adjustments to my seat memory setting though.
