Slight stutter in neutral?
I have an 09 335xi 6mt and for some reason when just sitting in neutral the car will stutter or putter every now and then. Its hard to explain but I was wondering if this was normal. Its more noticeable on cold starts and the car is completely stock......for now.

i've never experienced this before in my car, but for any problems that I have and am still within the warranty period, I'd just bring it to your local dealer. It's even better if you can recreate the problem for the SA.

This "shudder" has been noted on many occasions by numerous 335i owners, me included. Someone on here brought it to their dealer and was told that it was "normal operation". By the way, mine is an e92 2008 335xi.
The shudder only happens at idle, only on cold starts, and each time only lasts a second or so. If the engine is on 15 minutes or more it won't shudder even at idle. I wouldn't worry about it. As far as I'm concerned, it's just part of the character of the 335i beast under the hood.
