Thanks for Forum help - dealer rolled over
The forum really helped me with the 335i squeeling brakes / low speed issue - well documented on another thread. I took my '07 in yesterday, explained the problem, requested the fix as suggested on this forum, and the dealer said "OK" and rolled-over based on the forum documentation. The advice has been a real help to me - thanks!

Glad it worked out for you.
When you say "rolled over," did the dealership initially refuse to service your car or give you the usual bs about "it's normal"? If not, then I would hardly call it rolling over. In any event, kudos to you for doing your homework and bringing in ammunition. |

Congratulations on your success. Your dealer was obviously impressed with your insight and with the expertise of the forum's members. Many dealers hesitate to follow the expertise reflected in the threads. Read the thread "Please help my car is broken" and make your own conclusion.

My sister took her 5 series into service for squeaky breaks today. They said it was "normal"
The replaced her rear rotors and pads. Her front pads. And all four brake sensors. |
