Just bought my E90 325i !!! good deal?
Hey,
So after selling my E46 M3, Infiniti FX, the driving around in a commuter civic coupe for a few days, I finally pulled the trigger on a sweet beemer.... it's an 06 325i Black/Black with Sports/Premium/Cold weather package... other cool options include active steering and auto rear shade.... oh and it's a manual btw. I had BMW buy this car for me from the Cadillac dealership and have it CPO'd so that I could take advantage of the 0.9% apr special for 60 months that just ended. I paid $0.00 out the door and now my first bill comes after 45 days for $405.00. Car is CPO'd for another 2 years/50k miles and warranty till 100k. Clean car fax, no accidents, one owner clean, 35k miles......Sound like a good deal? Here are some pics: Sorry for the bad quality, I got these off the dealer website, I will try to post some good pics once the weather gets better. Last edited by ApexM4CS; 03-03-2009 at 08:44 AM.. Reason: added odometer reading: 35k |

I think if you wanna quantify if this is a good deal you need to disclose a ball park price... 405 a month for.. how many months?
Looks like a nice car, it's stick right? |

times are tough my friends... job market sucks, lot's of haters out there... i bought the car for myself, and that's why i need to justify paying the price for this car to my family versus driving my paid off commuter car for another year or so...
$405/m for 60 months @ 0.9% apr. car was around $21500 + some fees and stuff... yup, it's a stick and pretty well equipped. the m3 was nice, but i drove it to over 100k miles but with no warranty the repair costs were really getting to me... this 325i is a headache free car and something i can easily fit my family into (i got married not to long ago). now as far as basic modding is concerned, what do you guys recommend? i want that silver interior trim...any hookups? |

Yeah 21k is pretty good for your car.. you're actually paying more like 22,600K if you assume 2.9% interest rate with 60 months @ 405 a month.
I think thats a good deal man I got a 2007 328i, silver, with black interior and aluminum trim for 28.2k |

Just tell your wife the dudes on bimmerpost said you got a killer deal even though I think you paid a bit much for the car.
I can understand the repair costs of the M3 getting to be a headache, but was the repair cost greater than 21k? |

well he said he sold the M3 and an infiniti to offset the cost of the 325... so maybe he just put that cash in the bank? OP, why didn't you use any of the money from the sales to put down toward the 325? Otherwise the price looks pretty good for a loaded one.
