Is anyone else having issues with their forward sign/collision/safety camera?

I have it throw an error often when raining but several times on clear dry days. I have also.had the forward collision warning fire off twice, with no one in front of me. Took it into the dealership who reported 3 stored faults on the camera but 'no current issues' so did.nothing.

I had 3 errors just today in the rain and one ghost collision warning. This camera issue is the only thing wrong I have experienced with the car thus far.

I am assuming faulty camera and likely will press to have it replaced.

It sounds like a faulty camera, assuming the windshield hasn’t been replaced. I would also look to see if you have a chip in the windshield surface in direct line with the camera lens.

Original glass and no chips I am aware of...

this is a informationmessage .. no error .. camera "stops" working ( infomessage) when heavy rain, sun is blinding etc.

I would agree but it's annoying and also had 3+ times now when the collision warning has gone off for no reason.

I am pretty sure there is something wrong with the camera, but also thought to see if others say similar behavior or over-sensitivity
