BC-button

Hi
When pushing the BC-button the fuel consumption in different forms show up on the dash. But by just pushing the BC button there os no way to get back to for example the map - or is it something I am doing wrong? A setting?

I don't think there's a way to out of that display once you are in it. I've tried press-and-hold and a few other things. The only way I found was to use the setting button and dial to something else. Which is more driver distraction than I like.

I almost never use the BC screen anymore because of this.

The menu button over the idrive controll wheel?

I think mileage can be displayen on the screen - just change the settings on the my bmw widget which displays oil, tire pressure and so on.

you'd think that each press of the BC button would go:

Instant-->Trip-->all trips-->back to original display before the first press of the BC button.

I have a call with the BMW feedback team this week and will mention it. Might be good if others here do the same! :-)
