I hardwired my Valentine One radar detector using power from the front passenger fuse box. I used a fuse tap adapter (such as a Bussmann ATM Fuse tap) and connected it to F69. I chose this one because it was not used and it is switched.

I have attached several pictures of the fuse box and where I ran the wire (red line roughly shows where I rant the wire). I tried my best to tuck in the wire so that it isn't really apparent.

I don't know. I haven't tried that. If I were to guess, I would think that it is possible. The fuse box is very close to the glove compartment, and I don't recall that the glove compartment is tightly sealed. It may be difficult to get all the way around the glove compartment because it is pretty tight. Good luck.

Are you referring to the back of the car or behind the dash?
If for the rear of the car, it’s easy to do.

I am going to be installing a dash cam that will be hard wired using a Vico-Power PLUS which is a small device used to enable parking mode. In my F87, I had it in the trunk because thats the fuse box I wired it to. In the G87 I am planning to use the fuse box in the front passenger footwell but I need a place to put the Vico-Power PLUS.

I did it this way in my Focus RS where you could run the wires up and out the back of the glove box. I am hoping I will be able to do the same in the G87. I'll take a look for myself later today but don't plan on trying to hardwire it until sometime next week.

There’s some room behind the floor carpet behind the box. You should be fine.

I did the same thing on my 2018 4 series but in those days they had a 12v connection under the dash.

Just an update on this for anyone that comes across this post in the future. I was able to route wires up into the glove box using the opening in the hinges. You just need to be mindful when closing the glovebox to make sure the wires do not get bound up/crushed.

ATM fuse tap (which I think is mini?) for the accessory/switched fuse from this guide. If you are doing a hardwire that also includes an always on wire, it will be the larger ATC fuse tap.

The trick is twisting the 2 knobs to open the panel. Once you see it, you’ll see it.

I found it. Is there a grounding point hidden here? I ended up just drilling into the metal bracket.
