RCouchh's G87 M2 Build (Pic Heavy)

Hey all! Many of you in here are familiar with me, and for those of you who aren't, my name is Ryan and welcome to my G87 build thread.

Have a ton of plans for this car, and I'm excited to share my experiences throughout the process. I will be documenting/photographing everything the best I can along the way.

As is tradition, here is a pic of my recently sold 2019 M2C.

I put a deposit down to get on the G87 waitlist in May 2022 and received an allocation March 2023. I sold my 2019 M2C in May 2023 to prepare, and after many delays I finally took delivery 8/30/23. Car is BSM, manual, carbon pack, every option ticked aside from e-SIM.

-Alpha-N Carbon Fixed GP Wing
-VT Forged SL-A SuperLite Monoblock Wheels 19x10 & 20x11
-AutoID TRE carbon front lip, side skirts, front air inlets
-CT Carbon Rear diffuser + side spats
-MAD Catless Fatboy Downpipes
-Valvetronic Single midpipe
-RK Tunes front mount intakes
-JB4 w/ wireless kit
-KW HAS Kit
-AutomotivePassion CF mudflaps
-IND front/rear reflector deletes
-Uniden R7 w/ blendmount
-Suntek Ultra PPF (Full front end, full roof, side skirts, mirrors and partial rear quarters)
-Suntek CXP Tint (18% sides/rear, 45% windshield)

Delivery day!

Car was filthy as I requested the dealer not wash the car. Picked it up in the afternoon, covered the front in XPEL Tracwrap and drove straight to my PPF shop ~60 miles away.

At the PPF shop for her first bath and a full front PPF in Suntek Ultra. Also did full roof, side skirts, and part of the rear quarter panels.

Did full tints with Suntek CXP, 18% all around with 50% windshield. Also tinted the lower portion of the taillights with smoked PPF.

Threw the AutoID ID-01 spoiler on temporarily.. Alpha-N wing and AutoID front lip/skirts/inlets should be coming in next 2 weeks.

That looks good. Do you know how it compares size-wise to the M Performance spoiler? It looks like it’s not quite as tall and has much better proportions.

Its shaped a little differently than the M Performance spoiler. The M Performance version is taller but not as wide on the trunk (it follows the car's body lines but just guves the appearance that it is made not wide enough).

Like Rob said it's shaped quite differently. Not as tall, more rounded on the sides, and comes all the way to the edges of the trunk. I'm not a fan of how the M-Performance one leaves like a 2" gap on both sides of the trunk. Looks unfinished to me.

KW HAS, 15F/18R spacers, Valvetronic single midpipe, and F&R reflector deletes installed today!

Will get a better exhaust clip later, but here is a quick rev from interior

Sounds surprisingly great from just the midpipe.

I like this angle the best. Shows just how well sculpted the G87 M2 body is compared to how the F87 M2 was.
