G87 speaker location and size?

I upgraded my G05 with Focal K2 4" all around and earthquake woofers under seats with the MatchUp 10DSP. I still have the stock speakers. Now since these Focals are $600+ a set, I will be taking them out before I trade in thr G05 for the G87 and then I will install the Focals and the DSP10 in the G87. I will leave the woofers as its hard enuf to remove the seat and I would rather get a new set for the $. They are very inexpensive. So where are the speaker locations in the G87 and how many and what size? Same 4"? I read its 14 speakers. Im assuming 1 T & 1 W on dash, pair on front left, pair on front right, 2 woofers under seats, pair rear left and pair rear right. Thats only 12. Where are the other 2?

I have a total of 7 sets in the G05 plus woofers. 16 total in G05. I will have enuf speakers, but just preparing...would like to know where they are and if same 4" size. Thanks

The pair for rear left and right are on the back deck. The other two are in the back seat area. I think it is only 2 tweeters, but I have not confirmed this. The cutout looks big enough for a 4", so I do t know why it would only be a tweeter.

Back seat side walls are just mids.. I just did the full Bimmertech Alpha One upgrade on my G87 (hugely worth it), and have a DIY video up for it.

Thanks for the clarification. The Bimmertech website has changed a couple times now. First it was showing tweeters in the back seat. Now it is showing mids and tweeters. When you select a full set of speakers for the M2 is includes 7 tweeters. Maybe they'll fix it after seeing your video.

Yeah and you nailed it exactly.. I have two spare tweeters on hand right at the moment from the kit, with that feedback provided back to Bimmertech. The rear panels are a little bit of a hassle to get off, not bad, just a hassle. I also wish I had when I was doing it, time to do full soundkins as well. I plan on doing a full stage 3 soundskins setup on the car, and will pull those rear panels again, but would have been nice to not have to do it twice.

Its just straight bare metal behind that panel, though there is a fair amount of insulation on the backside of the panel.

Any annoying rattles after re-install? My M2 is tight without a rattle anywhere. I would hate to ruin that by pulling the interior apart.

I hate rattles, and no issues thus far. Actually to my shock, BMW has entirely changed the expanding post setup on the door cards, unlike even the G80s. The plastic posts/expanding posts are GONE, with new permanent metal posts on the door side, and expanding plastic rings on the card side. VASTLY superior setup and only like 40 years for them to change.
