Engineering Explained: What Happened To The BMW M2
Pretty solid video, very fair and positive take on the engine, price, transmission and looks. He minged quite a bit on the weight which was undermined for me by the fact that he got the weight wrong on the F87 and was quoting a larger difference between the F87 and G87 than there actually is (500lbs vs 350lbs). He corrects this in the comments but not in the actual video. Additionally he makes the common error in thinking that the previous gen M2 was actually lighter than the pervious gen M4, when they were in fact the same.

I love EE. But while he seems to miss the older M2, I don't.
The G87 is just as tossable as the F87, but without the sketchy back end. I find it weird when people think "handles badly" is a positive and want that to continue. I do not find it endearing. |
