Haha close to mine, missing the cognac seats though.

Having a hell of a trip up right now, absolutely loving the car. Tearing through the tail of the dragon and nearby roads was incredible. Ill do more of a full writeup when I get back. Struggling to keep it under 4500 rpm lol

Forgot about your seats!

5000. You’re missing a bit of the good bits keeping it to 4500. Glad to hear you’re having fun. How is the wife enjoying the ride?

Haha so much conflicting information on break in, I'm doing my best to shift before the 5 fully lights up, and only sometimes missing it.

My wife loves it, she's still getting comfortable driving a manual so has only ripped it a few times but it fits her much better than any of our other cars (pedals/seating position work well even through she's quite short).

PCD was awesome, I think Leon was the name of the guy who did the delivery. No one else was getting anything fun though, just x7/x5/x3/i4 and 430i which I suprised about

The X folks shouldn’t be allowed to take space away from the M crowd. That’s one instance of segregation I could support.

Enjoy the rest of the road trip. Hit me up when you’re getting close to NY. I’ll bring Sandwiches!

And to the conflicting information. I just read the Owners Manual, figured I’d take the M Division’s word for it. Definitely not listening to a bunch of blowhards on Bimmerpost

Nice comparison. I feel the new M2 is more like the 1M but what do I know.

1M is 250lbs lighter than an M2cs and very small, makes an E46 feel big IMO, it is a completely different feeling than any new BMW, just needs an exhaust and it is a very rowdy little car.

135is = Great little car. As time goes on people forget the different eras of size /dimensions.

Comparing a 6-speed manual G87 M2 with the pano roof & an automatic G80 M3 Comp seemed a touch weird / strange to me. If you want to do a more apples to apples comparison, make sure they all have 6-speed manuals & are all on PS4S tires. But that's just me.
