For those of you that want to know the details of what is contained in an OTA software update, you can find this in your online ConnectedDrive account.

1. Login to your ConnectedDrive account.
2. Find 'Remote Software Upgrade'.
3. Click on 'Details'.
4. Scroll down to 'Release Notes' & click on it.
5. Click on 'here' in 'You can find the updated release notes here'.
6. Scroll part way down where you will see a list of all previous & current OTA versions.
7. Select the one you want and voila, a pdf will be presented with pages & pages of details.

I should point out that these are generic for all BMWs, so many of the 'updates' will not be relevant for your car.
